Demolition Underway Ahead of Chelsea Mixed-Use Project
Breeze National Inc. is currently in the process of demolishing a 2-story commercial building at 258-278 Eighth Avenue in Chelsea to make way for a brand new, 12-story mixed-use project. Developed by , and JJ Operating, it will contain rental apartments units. Tenant amenities are to include a roof terrace, a fitness center, a bar and lounge, and a bicycle storage room. The building will also have square feet of commercial space, coming in the form of a new Target location on the ground floor. Approximately $183 million in financing is being provided for the project by Square Mile Capital Management, and Pacific Western Bank.
