Demolition Underway on Norwood Hospital
has begun demolition on Norwood Hospital as reconstruction commences on the project. The redevelopment, approved with $20 million in federal funding, will feature 130 private acute care rooms, and new emergency services. The hospital has been shuttered since 2020 when floodwaters inundated the building.
