Department of General Services Acquires Capitol Heights Site for $10M
The DC Department of General Services has acquired the 11+ acre site at 1201 Claybrick Road in Capitol Heights, MD for $10,495,000. The purpose of the site is to accommodate the DC Circulator storage, maintenance, and charging infrastructure in a state-of-the-art green facility that will support the region’s goals for reducing air pollutants. Plans call for a roughly 33,000 square foot principal building plus 2 additional accessory structures for washing and fueling the fleet.
