Developer Lands $105M Loan for 19-Story Resi Project in LIC
Developer and general contractor, , recently secured a $105 million loan for a 19-story, residential project, going up at 43-14 Queens Street in Long Island City, Queens. Issued by Wells Fargo, this influx of capital will be used to fund construction costs.
The building is set to contain rental apartments. Plans also call for square feet of retail space, which will be located on the ground floor.
The square foot project site spans what was previously 3-separate lots. To create the assemblage, Rockrose shelled out $26 million in 2019 for 27-34 Jackson Avenue, and an additional $13 million in 2020 for the neighboring properties at 43-12 and 43-14 Queens Street.
Designed by , the new development stands feet tall and totals square feet. Construction is in the interior finishing stage and work is estimated to finish by the spring of 2025.
