Developer Lands $170M for Midtown Condo Tower

has just obtained a $170 million construction loan from Bank OZK for a luxury, 28-story tower project, set to rise at 126 East 57th Street in Midtown, Manhattan.

The building will contain  residential condos, as well as 4,056 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Tenant amenities are to include a basketball court, a fitness center, and a rooftop swimming pool.

Designed by , the structure will stand feet tall and total square feet. The project site has been assembled as such that the tower will be constructed at 686 Lexington Avenue, with the main entrance, located around the corner at 126 East 57th Street.

General contractor, , already started excavation and drilling work for the foundation this past summer. Construction is expected to take at least a few years to complete.
