Developer of proposed South Boston boutique hotel acquires adjacent parcel for $3.5 million
Evergreen Property Group, developer of the recently proposed eight-story, 159-room boutique hotel at 248 Dorchester Avenue in South Boston and owner of the 0.5-acre parcel, has purchased the adjacent 0.22-acre property, 220 Dorchester Avenue, for $3.5 million. 220 Dorchester Avenue is currently home to a one-story, 2,170-square-foot building with surface parking occupied by Doughboy Donuts. Evergreen Property Group has not yet disclosed development plans for 220 Dorchester Avenue. A number of mixed-use developments are currently underway near 220 Dorchester Avenue, including The Ceinture, a proposed six-story, 54-condominium luxury residential development located across from the site.
