Developer Requests Permit Extension For Renovations to Harvard Square Garage Mall
Trinity Property Management, Inc. has filed a request for a one-year extension on the special permit approved for the redevelopment of The Garage in Harvard Square. Approved plans call for 32,500 square feet of retail/restaurant and 77,500 square feet of commercial office space. The request cites "volatility in both the capital markets and the office markets" as reasons for the delay and also mentions the developer has not yet terminated existing tenancies and commenced the demo for the development.
