Developer Requests Rezoning for Channelside Development
The Dynamic Group has submitted a request to rezone the land purchased in Tampa’s Channelside District for a proposed mixed-use building. The new development would offer 280 multi-family units along with 4,555 square feet of street-level commercial space. The 32-story tower represents the second phase of the Place at Channelside and would be constructed on what is currently a vacant lot adjacent to it. The first phase was built in 2008 and has 245 condominiums. The Dynamic Group acquired the vacant parcel in December 2020. The request was submitted to the City of Tampa and it will require a hearing before the Tampa City Council.
