Developer Revamps Plans for Galleria Ft. Lauderdale Mall Redevelopment
The owner of the Fort Lauderdale Galleria Mall has proposed updated plans for redeveloping the Galleria Mall. Redevelopment plans were rejected back in 2016 after neighboring residents opposed the proposed height. Under the new plan, 600,000 square feet of existing retail space would be demolished to make way for 1,900 apartments. About 400,000 square feet of retail would remain.
