Developer Secures $240M for Fort Greene Tower

Developer, , has just obtained a $240 million loan for 98 DeKalb Avenue, a 49-story tower project, set to rise in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Issued by Wells Fargo, the financing will be used to fund most, if not, all of its construction.

The tower will contain rental apartments and square feet of commercial space. This would likely come in the form of ground-floor retail.

Alternatively addressed as 180 Ashland Place, the abnormally shaped lot previously contained a parking facility with entrances on both Ashland Place and DeKalb Avenue. The building is currently being demolished. Designed by , the new structure will stand feet tall and total square feet. Detailed renderings have not yet been released.
