Developers Obtain $167.5M Loan for Harlem Tower Project

Developers, Lam Group and Exact Capital Group have just received a $167.5 million loan for 233 West 125th Street; a 27-story mixed-use project in Central Harlem. Secured through Slate Property Group, the funding will refinance the building's construction from the ground up.

The completed structure will have rental apartments, with 58% of the units dedicated to affordable housing. These will be known as the "Victoria Tower Residences". The building will also contain a Marriott Renaissance Hotel with keys, retail space amassing square feet, and an enclosed parking garage with enough room for vehicles.

Designed by , the development stands feet tall and totals square feet. Its superstructure topped out in 2019 and was constructed on the former site of the historic, Victoria Theatre. Despite most of the theatre not existing anymore, the old lobby portion was saved and restored. It will live on with a similar purpose as the lobby in the new building.
