Medical Properties Trust has acquired Carney Hospital located in Dorchester, MA for $262.92 million.
The property features a 282,494 square-foot hospital building that was constructed in 1899 and is located in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood. The eight-story building sits a short distance from multiple public transit options including the Cedar Grove Station and Ashmont Station. It is currently affiliated with Tufts Medical School as a teaching hospital.
