Drilling Begins for 28-Story Midtown Condo Tower
General contractor, , has begun drilling the foundation of a 28-story mixed-use tower, set for 126 East 57th Street in East Midtown, Manhattan, thus marking the start of the construction process.
Developed by , the building will contain residential condos as well as approximately square feet of ground-floor retail space. Tenant amenities will include a basketball court, a fitness center, and a rooftop swimming pool.
Designed by , the structure will stand feet tall and total square feet. The project site has been assembled as such that the tower will be constructed at 686 Lexington Avenue, with the main entrance, located around the corner at 126 East 57th Street. Work is estimated to take at least a few years to complete.
