1810 Randall Avenue Rezoning Update 12/08/21

EAS Filed for 160+ Unit Senior Housing Project in The Bronx

An Environmental Assessment Statement (EAS) has been filed for a 167-unit senior housing facility at 1810 Randall Avenue in the Bronx's Soundview neighborhood. This EAS is part of a proposal submitted by applicant, Leon Hovsepian III, who is requesting a zoning map amendment that will combine lots 38, 45, and 47 of block 3522. This will facilitate an 8-story building totaling 119,745 square feet. Almost 90,000 sqft would contain 150 Affordable Independent Residence for Seniors (AIRS) units. There will also be 23,601 sqft of community facility space. This will house 17 senior supportive housing units, as well as the Second Pentecostal Church of God La Hermosa.
