East Boston Industrial Property Financed for $4.5M
Cargo Ventures has financed the industrial property at 605 Chelsea Street in East Boston for $4.5M through People's United Bank. The 61,926 square foot lot is located along the Chelsea Creek and currently features a 28,499 industrial building constructed in 1965. Cargo Ventures had gone before the Orient Heights Neighborhood Council to discuss possible updates to the property in 2019. Plans at that time called for renovations of the existing building to create 25,000 square feet of office/retail space or light manufacturing space with associated offices.
