East New York Apartment Complex Acquired for $107.5M
A 4-building apartment complex in East New York has just been sold for $107.5 million. Collectively known as the "Remeeder Houses", the buildings were purchased by Camber Property Group from the previous owner, . Each structure contains 65 rental apartments, for a combined total of units. Three of the buildings are located at 579 Blake Street on a parcel that spans the length of the block. The fourth building is addressed as 350 Sheffield Avenue and can be found on a separate parcel, just one block over.
Originally constructed in 1975, each building stands feet tall. Altogether, they amass square feet. Omni New York is parting ways with the complex after a little over 14 years of ownership. The company purchased the property back in November of 2007.
