Edens Proposes Two New Buildings in Union Market
Plans have been unveiled for two multifamily buildings to take the place of the existing Motel 6 and neighboring parking lot.
The application proposed 375 apartments with 30,000 sq. ft. of ground-floor retail. The development will include 190 parking spaces and will be approximately 13% affordable units.
Plans show a creative use for the alley space between the new development. The alley will feature artful indoor and outdoor spaces, providing a "neighborhood retail experience" according to the developers.
The development team will now file to change the zoning to MU-9A in order to move forward with the project.
