Excavation Underway for LIC Mixed-Use Development
General contractor, Warner Construction Services is currently hard at work digging the foundation for 27-19 Thomson Avenue in Long Island City, Queens. The 28,051 square foot building is being developed by Thomson Development LLC and will contain approximately 30 residential units. It will stand 10-stories at 116 feet tall.
In addition to residences, the building will have 5,039 sqft of retail space. This will be located on the bottom two floors. 27-19 Thomson will also have an accessible rooftop, an outdoor terrace, and an entertainment room. Construction is expected to complete in the first half of 2023. This project is one of many across Long Island City that is contributing to the redevelopment of the neighborhood; collectively redefining it as the trendy and youthful part of Queens.
