Extensive Ledge Removal Continues for Ledges at Woburn
Excavation and blasting to remove around 357,000 cubic yards of ledge from the nearly 9-acre parcel at 1042 Main Street in Woburn continues. This work will make way for The Ledges, a 40B project set to include 168 units spread across 4 buildings with 300 parking spaces. The development has been in the works for nearly 20 years and won approval in 2015 from the Mass. Housing Appeals Committee which was upheld by the Mass. Supreme Court last winter. This initial site work is expected to last around 2 years.
