Exterior Being Painted at Corner on Main in Jacksonville

Construction continues to progress, the exterior is being painted and railings are being installed at Corner on Main in Jacksonville. The project will occupy a parcel between 1st Street and 2nd Street at an intersection widely considered to be the gateway to Springfield. The new development will surround a circa 1928 art deco structure that was originally home to Jacksonville’s first Chevrolet dealership. Once complete, the mixed-use urban development will include 201 market-rate studio, one bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments and more than 6,000 square feet of commercial space to accommodate retail or restaurant tenants. In addition, the project will include a fully-screened parking garage, a resort-style pool, a court yard, and multiple amenity spaces. The transited-oriented development is also located on Jacksonville’s much-anticipated Emerald Trail and in close proximity to Klutho Park. Construction is scheduled for completion in Summer 2025.
