Publix at West River Update 11/07/24

Exterior Walls Up at New Publix Store in Tampa’s West River Neighborhood

 

 

The exterior walls are up, and the roof is in place at a new 32,000-square foot Publix Grocery Store that will be constructed in the West River neighborhood of Tampa. The store will include a bakery and pharmacy. The three-acre site will offer 138 parking spaces. The Publix store is a component of the City of Tampa’s West River Redevelopment. The West River neighborhood includes approximately 150 acres of land along the western banks of the Hillsborough River and spans from Downtown Tampa to Tampa Heights.  The redevelopment plan includes housing, retail, office space surrounding parks and walkways along the Hillsborough River.  The first phase is expected to be complete in 2024.
