FAA Grants Approval for Height of Office Tower in Brickell Business District
The Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) has given the green light to a 764-foot office tower in Miami’s Brickell business district. 848 Brickell in Miami will offer 704,000 square feet of Class A office space and 7,500 square feet of retail space. The 51-story tower will rise 764 feet and include 1,065 parking spaces. The location is within walking distance of Brickell City Centre, The Shops at Mary Brickell Village and the Miami Avenue entertainment district. The Metromover station, which provides access to multiple downtown stops, Metrorail, Tri-rail and Miami International Airport. An existing building, which houses Key International’s headquarters, and contains 100,000 square feet of office space is on the site.
