Facade Work Begins for Chelsea Academic Building
General contractor, , has started installing facade materials at 220 West 28th Street, the Fashion Institute of Technology's newest addition to its Chelsea, Manhattan campus.
The 10-story building will contain new administrative offices, classrooms, and exhibition areas. It will also boast an indoor student quad, spanning the entire 5th floor.
Designed by , 220 West 28th stands feet tall and will total square feet. Construction is expected to finish in early to mid-2023.
