Facade Work Underway for Archer Towers
General contractor, Skycore Builders, is currently installing the facade on the 24-story, Archer Towers project in Jamaica, Queens. The topped-out structure has about 75% of its windows and cladding materials fitted, with more being added by the day. Crews are also working on framing out the interior floor plans.
Developed by BRP Companies and designed by Studio V, the tower is set to contain apartments, including 181 affordable housing units. It will also boast 20,000 square feet of amenities.
In addition to residential space, Archer towers will have square feet of retail and an enclosed parking garage, with enough room for vehicles. The development totals over 540,000 square feet, and construction is expected to finish sometime in 2023.
