Facade Work Underway for Williamsburg Mall Project
General contractor, , is well into the process of installing facade materials at 347 Flushing Avenue; an 8-story commercial project going up in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Developed by , the building will be known as the "Williamsburg Square Mall & Business Center" (WSQ).
The bottom 3-floors will contain square feet of retail space, consisting of boutique shops, big box stores, a food court, and a kosher supermarket.
Sitting atop the mall portion, floors 4-7 are to offer square feet of office and medical suites. The 5th floor will feature a 6,400 square foot, outdoor terrace, so office workers can catch a bit of fresh air during the day. Lately, outdoor commercial amenities like this are becoming increasingly popular, as the city sees a sharp rise in boutique office development.
At the very top of the building, the 8th floor will boast 15,100 square feet of event space, as well as an 850 square foot roof deck. To support all the traffic this building will see, plans also call for an enclosed parking garage, with enough room for vehicles.
Designed by , WSQ totals square feet altogether, and stands feet tall. Construction was originally expected to wrap up this past spring, but having encountered delays, work is now estimated to conclude by the fall of 2023. Leasing is being handled by Pinnacle Realty of New York.
