Facade Work Wrapping Up at 8 Court Square
General contractor, , is currently wrapping up facade installation at 8 Court Square, a 20-story, mixed-use tower, going up in Long Island City, Queens.
Jointly developed by Rose Associates and Werwaiss Properties, the building is set to contain rental apartments and square feet of ground-floor retail space.
Sitting on an irregularly shaped lot, the tower has frontages on Jackson Avenue, 44th Drive, and Thomson Avenue. It now towers above 27-19 Thomson Avenue, a neighboring mixed-use project, that was recently completed next door.
Designed by , 8 Court Square stands feet tall and totals square feet. With the exterior nearly complete, the project team has already shifted focus toward the building's interior. Construction is expected to finish by the fall of 2023.
