Facade Work Wraps Up for Harlem Multi-Purpose Development
At 121 West 125th Street in Harlem, general contractor, Congress Builders, with the help of masonry supplier, King Contracting Group, is finishing up facade work for a new mixed-use development. The 414,000 sqft building is being co-developed by Taconic Partners, BRP Companies, L+M Development Partners, and The Prusik Group.
Designed by Beyer Blinder Belle, the 17-story structure is set to house 110,000 sqft of retail, 70,000 sqft of Class-A office space, and 170 affordable housing units.
The building will notably contain new office headquarters for both the National Urban League and the Urban Civil Rights Museum Experience. Excavation began on the site in 2020, and the project is expected to complete in mid-2023.
