Fairfax County Board Approves Interim Uses for Westpark Plaza Site
The Dittmar Company originally won approval for the Westpark Plaza mixed-use project on the 5.3 acre in the heart of Tysons in 2014. Plans called for the demo of the Best Western Westpark Hotel and construction of a new hotel and two residential buildings with up to 1300 dwelling units. Since the approval, the hotel has been demolished and now The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors has now approved new interim uses including new vehicle storage and a reading themed pop-up park for the site.
