Fallon sells Brookline Village site to Kenwood Builders for $3.125 million, Kenwood proposes mixed-use development

The Fallon Company, developer of Fan Pier in the Seaport District, has sold a 0.28-acre parcel located at the intersection of Boylston and High Streets in Brookline Village to Kenwood Builders for $3.125 million. Kenwood is now proposing to construct a four-story, 24,000-square-foot mixed-use building on the parcel featuring 16 apartment residences and approximately 4,200 square feet of ground-floor retail space. A single-story commercial building on site most recently tenanted by Dunkin’ Donuts would be demolished. The Town of Brookline is now reviewing Kenwood's proposed project plans. Village Bank provided $2,187,500 of mortgage financing towards Kenwood's acquisition. Fallon acquired the parcel in January 2016 for $2.9 million.
