First Phase of Wheaton Gateway Approved
A proposal to build 800 apartments in three buildings in Wheaton has been approved for construction.
The first phase would include 325 units and 25,000 square feet of ground floor retail. Roughly 210 of those units would be designated as affordable housing.
There will be a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units.
Once the project is completed, it would include a total of 910,223 square feet of space, and each building would have three levels of below-ground parking.
