Foundation construction of Quincy Center mixed-use development underway
The foundation of Nova Residences at Quincy, a 171-unit apartment development with over 15,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space located in burgeoning Quincy Center, is now being constructed. The project site has been graded, and concrete is being poured in order to construct the foundation's deep footings. In the coming months, vertical construction of the seven-story building will begin.
Nova Residences at Quincy is expected to open in 2019 and will encompass 153,000 square feet. The building will include a new public ground-floor, all-weather galleria linking Hancock Street to a new 650-to-700-space public parking garage that will be built by the City of Quincy.
