Foundation Construction Underway on First Life Science Buildings at Suffolk Downs
has begun foundation construction on parcels R10 and R11 at 100 Salt Street in Revere as development of the first life science buildings at Suffolk Downs kicks off. Part of the first phase of development, 100 Salt Street will feature 280,000 SF of research floorspace, with the full lab buildout yielding half a million square feet.
The massive Suffolk Downs project won approval in Boston and Revere in 2020 and will feature 16.2 million SF of mixed-use space at the former Suffolk Downs racetrack.
