Foundation Work Nearly Complete for Union Market Mixed-Use Project
Below-grade construction is ongoing at 440 Penn Street at DC’s Union Market with a complex support of excavation system installed and excavation complete. Concrete foundations are nearing completion and slab on grade pours are well underway in hopes to start elevated concrete in mid-April. The upcoming 13th story, mixed-use project will include around 300 apartments and 23,000 square feet of retail space.
