Foundation Work Underway at 1024 Manhattan Avenue
Developer and general contractor, , is currently in the process of constructing the foundation for a 7-story, mixed-use development, going up at 1024 Manhattan Avenue in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
As rebar cages continue to be assembled and placed in the right spots, concrete is being pumped into the finished molds to form the structural support columns that will hold up the building.
Designed by , the new development is set to contain rental apartments and square feet of commercial space. The latter is likely to come in the form of ground-floor retail.
The structure will stand feet tall and total square feet when ultimately completed. The project site measures square feet and is a rezoned assemblage that used to be 3 separate lots.
Construction is estimated to finish by the Fall of 2023. Renderings are currently unavailable for the project.
