Framework Concludes at New WTC Venue
Stonebridge Steel Erection has finished the steel framework at Ronald O. Perelman Performing Arts Center; the newest addition to the World Trade Center complex. Developed by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the center sits directly next to 1 WTC, where it will soon host a wide variety of music and theater performances. The center's modern cube design is the work of both REX, and Davis Brody Bond. General contracting the project is local NYC builder, Sciame Construction.
Once the project is finished in 2023, the 129,000 sqft. center will have flexible walls, allowing for up to 11 interior configurations. It will therefore be able to host events with different attendance sizes, ranging from 99 to 1,200 seats.
