Framing Underway for Kendall Square Residential Tower
Steel framing is underway at 165 Main Street in Kendall Square, the residential building within the MIT Kendall Square Initiative. The building will offer nearly 300 apartments along with 8,000 square feet of retail space. The 275-foot tower will capitalize on the site’s unmatched views of the Charles River and Back Bay with many units offering outdoor terraces. Amenities are set to include a resident lounge and a fitness center with spinning and yoga studios. Construction is expected to last through 2022.
