Further Progress for Jamaica Senior Living Development
BG Sutphin LLC's proposal to rezone 97-04 Sutphin Boulevard in Jamaica, Queens, requests zoning map and text amendments. These will facilitate a new senior affordable housing development with approximately 177 units. The development would also include around 16,500 sqft of community facility space. In the few weeks since we last reported on this proposal, two more land use applications have been filed. Furthermore, an environmental impact statement has finally been filed. With an EIS submitted, there is a good chance the proposal could soon be sent to the City Planning Commission to kick off the public review process.
