2134 Coyle Street Update 01/18/22

Further Progress for Sheepshead Bay Mixed-Use Project

A proposal for a  story mixed-use development at 2134 Coyle Street in Brooklyn's Sheepshead Bay neighborhood is slowly, but surely progressing through the public review stage. Developer,  requested zoning map and text amendments to facilitate a square foot building, containing residential units. The building would also have  square feet of retail space,  parking spaces, and additional parking spaces for commercial vehicles. Since our last update, the City Planning Commission (CPC) finished reviewing the proposal and voted in favor of the project. Next, the City Council will have to review the application, and then conduct a follow-up vote. After this vote is cast, the project will be sent to the NYC Mayor's Office for the final stamp of approval. At this point, the application has come a long way, and only a couple of hurdles remain before this project becomes a reality.
