George Washington University's Thurston Hall Reaches Substantial Completion
Clark Construction has announced substantial completion of the renovation of The George Washington University's historic Thurston Hall.
The project, which broke ground in 2020, was delivered on time and on budget, per the company release.
The project to transform the 95-year-old, 200,000 sq. ft. dormitory into a vibrant, amenity-rich living and learning community broke ground in 2020.
The updated building will feature dormitories for approximately 825 students, a three-season atrium, a student lounge, a multi-purpose space, food service, and a penthouse space offering students views of the surrounding city.
