Healthcare Realty Acquires Tampa Medical Office Building for $31.5 Million
Introducing Healthcare Realty’s newest property: the Tampa Medical Tower in Tampa, Florida, which our company acquired on March 10.
This prominently positioned property features over 115,000 square feet of Class A medical office space on eight floors and is presently 98% leased. The Tampa Medical Tower is adjacent to St. Joseph’s Hospital, a 465-bed facility that serves as the flagship hospital campus of the BayCare Health System. St. Joseph’s has been named one of the Top 100 Hospitals in the U.S. by Fortune/Merative each of the past five years.
With this acquisition, Healthcare Realty now owns, leases, and manages 20 medical office properties in the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater market, totaling over 1,000,000 square feet.
