Here's What Pace University's New Academic Center Will Look Like
A number of weeks ago, BLDUP reported on the demolished site at 15 Beekman Street in the Financial District. The lot will soon be home to a 27-story tower, containing Pace University's new academic center, and dormitory. Now that demolition has finished, work is expected to begin shortly. Ahead of construction, a new rendering has just been revealed by Ismael Leyva Architects, giving us the best glimpse yet of how the finished product will look.
15 Beekman Street is being developed by SL Green Realty, and Pace University signed a 30-year leasehold to occupy the entire 215,000 square foot building. The institution plans to use it to house classrooms, dorms, student resources, a library, and a cafeteria.
