High Street Place Announces Hall Pass, a New Cheesesteak Concept From the Team Behind Mike & Patty's

Mike & Patty’s, Greater Boston’s award-winning breakfast sandwich shop, will transform its location at High Street Place food hall each evening at 4pm into Hall Pass, an entirely new cheesesteak concept. The exciting new restaurant features a menu of authentic Philly cheesesteaks made with the highest quality ingredients including Creekstone Farms Prime Black Angus Beef, fresh house-baked Italian sub rolls from its sister operation, Flourhouse Bakery in Newton, and a signature ‘white whiz’ sauce. Guests of High Street Place will still be able to order and enjoy Mike & Patty’s mouth-watering breakfast sandwiches in the morning and afternoon (until 2pm) before its team transforms the space – branding, signage, menus and all – into Hall Pass.

Menu highlights include Hall Pass’ Wiz Wit Cheesesteak, an authentic Philly cheesesteak made with prime shaved steak, griddled onions and housemade ‘white wiz’ and the Build Your Own Cheesesteak with a choice of cheese (‘white wiz’, American or sharp provolone) and a choice of several toppings including green peppers, mushrooms, raw onions, pickles, cherry peppers, banana peppers, Italian hots, shredded lettuce, and tomato. Hall Pass also offers an array of different french fries such as Dirty Eagle Fries with shaved steak and housemade ‘white wiz’ and Cajun Fries with Cajun seasoning and Cajun remoulade. For dessert, guests can order the delectable Cheesecake Egg Rolls.

Hall Pass is from the talented team of M&A Brands, the craft-casual restaurant group behind Mike & Patty’s, Hot Box in Somerville, MA and Flourhouse Bakery in Newton, MA.

The highly anticipated High Street Food Hall opened to the public on March 2, 2022 debuting a lineup of 20 exciting vendors, featuring some of Greater Boston’s most celebrated chefs, restaurateurs, brewmasters, cocktail experts, coffee roasters, and more. Among the food hall’s roster of local culinary destinations are three new concepts from Boston-based chef and restaurateur Tiffani Faison’s Big Heart Hospitality, including Tenderoni’s, a 70s and 80s inspired pizza and grinder shop, Dive Bar, a seafood and raw bar bringing together the best of southern Gulf traditions and coastal New England favorites, and Bubble Bath, a Champagne focused wine bar. Guests can enjoy everything generous bowls of “Pho-Men” soup from Asian-inspired concept, Kutzu, porchetta sandwiches and roast meats from Pennypacker’s, mouth-watering fried-chicken sandwiches from Haley Jane’s, inventive cocktail creations from Daiquiris & Daisies, local craft brews from Alewives Tap Room, and so much more.
