Hotel added to Arsenal Yards development in Watertown
Boylston Properties, in a joint venture with Stonebridge Companies, will build a 145-room Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton hotel as part of the upcoming $400 million Arsenal Yards mixed-use development in Watertown. The hotel will replace a previously planned residential apartment building along Arsenal Street, reducing total residences at Arsenal Yards to 425 from 500. Retail will be located on the hotel’s ground floor. Boylston hopes to begin construction later this year on Arsenal Yards; the project’s first phase, which will include the hotel, is expected to open in Spring 2019. Boylston and Stonebridge recently completed Residence Inn Boston Watertown, a 150-room hotel located across from the Arsenal Yards site, which is Watertown’s first new hotel in over 50 years.
