Howard University Acquires Georgia Ave. Site for $20M
Howard University has acquired the roughly 30,000 square foot site at 2334 Georgia Ave NW for $20M. In August, Howard announced plans for a 260,000-square-foot laboratory and office building located at what will become the northwest corner of Georgia Avenue and Bryant Street NW, adjacent to Howard’s main campus in Washington, D.C. The National Research Center for Health Disparities will be developed by Capstone Development, Quadrangle Development Corporation, and EDENS with construction expected to begin in 2023.
