Hunts Point Industrial Property Sells for $21.5M
A Class-C industrial building, located at 1100 Leggett Avenue in the Bronx's Hunts Point neighborhood has just traded hands for $21.5 million. The single-story structure was purchased by Innovo Property Group from the previous owner, Metro Office Furniture Rental.
Originally constructed in 1959, the building is currently used as a warehousing space. It has three drive-in-doors, 16-foot interior ceiling clearances, and square feet of built-out office space.
While the building in its present form totals just square feet, the property boasts fantastic re-development potential. It has a maximum zoning allowance of 120,000 BSF for commercial use and 288,000 BSF for community facilities.
