Imperial Tower Begins to Rise in Journal Square

General contractor, , has begun to form the concrete superstructure of a 35-story, mixed-use tower, going up at 2966 John F. Kennedy Boulevard in Jersey City's Journal Square neighborhood.

Developed by and known as "Imperial Tower", the building will have a total of 7 different uses. It will contain residential units (offered in studio and one to three-bedroom configurations + 2 penthouses), a 154-room, Fairfield by Marriott branded hotel, square feet of office space, ground-floor retail space, an enclosed parking garage, with enough room for vehicles, and a bicycle storage area.

The building will also feature a 11,121 square-foot banquet hall on the 34th floor, a 8,260 square-foot restaurant on the 35th floor, and several outdoor terraces. Tenant amenities are to include a fitness center, a daycare, a bowling alley, a co-working space, and a 12,097 square foot roof deck with an infinity pool.

Designed by , Imperial Tower will stand feet tall and total square feet altogether. An estimated date of completion is not yet clear.
