Interior Finishing in Progress at Archer Towers
As facade work continues to wrap up piece by piece at the 24-story, Archer Towers project in Jamaica, Queens, general contractor, Skycore Builders, has been keeping very busy lately by focusing on the inside of the building. The team is chipping away at a major interior finishing job, with stacks of sheetrock already pre-distributed around the structure in order to simplify the installation process.
Developed by BRP Companies and designed by Studio V, the tower is set to contain apartments, including 181 affordable housing units. It will also boast 20,000 square feet of tenant amenities.
In addition to residential space, Archer towers will have square feet of retail and an enclosed parking garage, with enough room for vehicles. The development totals over 540,000 square feet, and construction is expected to finish sometime this year.
