Interior Work Making Progress at Simmons University Redevelopment
Acoustic insulation spray has been applied to exposed ceilings in Simmons Science with hangers and struts laid out and installed ahead of time. Simmons University has planned renovations to Lefavour Hall and the Main College Building to accommodate the University's Library as well as the College of Natural, Behavioral, and Health Sciences (CNBHS). The proposal also calls for the demolition of the existing Park Science Center to make way for a new, 18-story Living and Learning Center, which will provide athletics space, a dining hall, and approximately 1,100 dormitory beds.
