Ironwork Underway for College Academic Building in Chelsea
General contractor, , is currently assembling the steel superstructure of 220 West 28th Street, the Fashion Institute of Technology's newest addition to its Chelsea, Manhattan campus.
The 10-story building will contain new administrative offices, classrooms, and exhibition areas. It will also boast an indoor student quad, spanning the entire 5th floor.
Designed by , 220 West 28th will stand feet tall and total square feet. Construction is expected to finish in early to mid 2023.
