Joy Evans Rec Center Tops Out
DC Parks & Rec Department along with the DC Department of General Services have celebrated the topping out of the Joy Evans Therapeutic Recreation Center. The new building will consist of 37,000 sqft on over 7.5 acres of land and provide an indoor heated pool and spa for therapy, a full-size gym, therapy rooms for physical and intellectual disabilities, indoor fitness, a caregiver's room, playgrounds, and gardens.
